Formed in Brighton in February of last year, Beach Riot are the four-piece vintage band drenched in fuzz. Drawing inspiration from the likes of nineties band Cable, Queens of the Stoneage, and Nirvana, their sound is an example of high-octane garage rock at it's finest. With notable performances including the BBC Introducing stage at this year's Reading and Leeds Festival and an opening slot for Don Broco in June, Beach Riot have their eyes set on success.
The band have consistently received high praise from the press, with clashmusic.com describing them as "a concise fusion of carefully etched melody and raucous noise". Whilst deadpress.co.uk described their sound as "brash and untamed, a distorted haze complete with big hooks and a distinctive raw energy.."
Following the success of their previous singles, their debut EP 'Beach Riot' is due to be released on Vallance Records in early December.
