Following the announcement of his upcoming EP, Count The Stairs, Hickey joins forces with heartbreak hero Phoebe Bridgers to deliver what can only be described a hit destined for the soundtrack of any coming-of-age movie. Ten Feet Tall is the diary entry of a lost soul looking for good in the world around him. “There's not a problem here that can't be solved with liquor, stickers, and strawberry moons”, he sings in his opening verse. But broaching the chorus, he accelerates to match the falsetto of long-time friend Phoebe, who’s backing vocals leave just a hint of sweetness behind. Ten Feet Tall is the perfect first release from what promises to be a killer debut EP.
