Milford Music and Arts Festival Returns for Another Year. A New Look For a New Year: More Music, More Venues, More Heart.

Milford Music and Arts Festival returns to the gorgeous seaside town of Milford on Sea, Hampshire, from the 8th to the 14th of July 2019. With this year's theme set as the summer of Love, pull out your flares, dust off the rose-tint glasses and join us for a week of brilliant entertainment across several local venues. With an all new bar, more food stands, more toilets, and a brand-new stage, this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever before. You asked, and we listened!

Acs topping the bill include Toffees, Mischa and His Merry Men, REMbrandt and Pioneers. We pride ourselves on endorsing and encouraging local talents, and this year is no different. Previous year's performances have come from the likes of Daughters of Davis, Saints of Sin, and local indie-rockers The Manatees.

Speaking on the festival, Josh from Saints of Sin said, "Before playing, we'd always heard great things about Milford Festival and it hasn't disappointed us. The last two times we played were amazing — it's crazy how much of a buzz a small seaside town like Milford can create. The stage was brilliant — the perfect size to accommodate our Rock n roll antics. The sound was bang on and the audience were simply epic. Both of our previous performances at Milford Festival were packed and the audience were definitely up for the party."

Whilst the music is an integral part to the success of the event, there is more than initially meets the eye. The festival is a celebration of our village, the local area and the community, so we've made some changes to this year's event. The festival will continue to run in smaller locations, our local pubs hosting several gigs throughout the week. But Thursday is when the party really gets started, with our Main Stage opening from 4pm. This stage then remains open until Sunday evening, hosting a large variety of the brilliant acts we've secured this year.

Milford Festival is run by a small but dedicated group of volunteers. As a not-for-profit organisation, we raise our funds through advertising, sponsorships, donations, and various fundraising events throughout the year. A way you can support the continuation of this wonderful event is by getting involved with the Friends of The Festival scheme. Registering with the scheme allows you to not only get involved with the festival, but also have access to loads of exclusive perks including discounts at bars restaurants and activities across the village.

On top of all of that, there are also a handful of discounted tickets to our Milford Festival Presents events throughout the year — all of which promise a great night of entertainment and laughter. In the coming months we have the Casino Night on May 18th, back by popular demand! DJ Jack Dyson will be providing the Chicago-Funk mixes throughout the evening, but with the theme set as 1969, what will you come dressed as?

Tickets available from Milford Community Centre Box office for £17.50.
